Theproject, located northeast of Tokyo near the city of Kashima, features Kaneka’sthin-film PV modules.
Theplant will generate enough electricity to supply 3,000 households per year.
Osaka-basedKaneka said in a statement that it will continue to develop renewableenergy projects in the future.
