The four projects – BeamLight, Gold Light, Illumination and Glenarm – are all slated be brought on line during 2014, and will collectively soak up 190,000 of Canadian Solar’s own CS6X modules.

The deal’s value was not revealed, although Canadian Solar says it is “comparable” to similar deals struck recently in Ontario.

DIF has established itself as a significant investor in operational PV assets in Europe, with funds under its management having accumulated more than 160MW of capacity at projects developedby the likes of Q Cells.
