Westinghouse brought the complaint last month, alleging that Zep and Canadian Solar violated Section 337 of Tariff Act of 1930 by importing products that infringe on two patents related to the integration of racking, grounding and wiring within modules.
California-based Westinghouse seeks a permanent exclusion order to bar imports of the infringing products.
Zep has denied the allegations and says its patent protections predate those of Westinghouse.
