Of the six, all listed in New York, only module maker JinkoSolar managed to end the quarter in the black — albeit it with a gross margin of 3.7%, compared to 33.5% during the same quarter last year.
The remaining five companies — Suntech, Trina , LDK, JA and Canadian Solar — lost a combined $364.9m, compared to a combined profit of $310.6m
