Located in an industrial park in Porcelette, in the region of Lorraine near the German border, the plant’s 80 workers will produce 150,000 modules a year using SunPower’s high-end Maxeon cells.

Last year Total gained full control of Tenesol, and followed up by splashing out $1.37bn
