Siemens will supply 17,000 of its Universal Vacuum Air Collector (UVAC-2010) receiver tubes for a parabolic-trough plant being built in Rajasthan for a unit of Abhijeet Group, which his due for commissioning in spring 2013.
The company has already been contracted to supply steam turbines for four of the seven CSP projects allocated in late 2010 by India’s National Solar Mission (NSM) – including Abhijeet’s plant.
