Solarhybrid has been in drawn-out negotiations over the purchase of the projects since October. The failure to more speedily close the sale was one of the factors cited for concentrating solar power (CSP) specialist Solar Millennium filing for insolvency just before Christmas.
The portfolio includes what Solar Millennium originally planned to be among the US’s biggest CSP projects, including the 1GW Blythe development in California.
