Hanwha Q Cells has been making inroads into the Japanese market

Germany-based PV manufacturer Hanwha Q Cells said it will have more than 1.5GW of production capacity in operation by the end of the year, as it revealed shipments grew 68% to 539MW in the first half of 2014.
