France’s EDF Energies Nouvelles and Chilean power developer Andes Mining and Energy (AME) have hired Spain’s Elecnor to build a 115MW solar PV plant.
According to Elecnor the turnkey contract is worth $117.2m and includes engineering, construction, equipment supply and transmission link services.
The Santiago Solar plant, located in the Til-Til region close to Chile’s capital Santiago, will be jointly owned by EDF and AME.
