Vivint Solar has named David Bywater its chief executive, as it looks to turn the page on the brutal period since SunEdison’s planned $2.2bn acquisition of the rooftop solar installer collapsed in March.
Bywater, formerly chief operating officer at sister company Vivint Smart Home, was named Vivint Solar’s interim CEO in May, following the sudden departure of Greg Butterfield, who took the company public in 2014.
