New Energy Solar, an Australia-based investment fund focused on large-scale solar assets, has acquired majority stakes in two nearly-complete projects in California totaling 134MW from SunPower.
The two 67MW arrays were developed, designed and constructed over the past year in Kern County, north of Los Angeles. They were built using SunPower’s modular Oasis Power Plant technology, and are expected to reach commercial operation this month.
