Norwegian PV group Scatec Solar will build and run 150MW of PV capacity in Brazil after buying four plants in the state of Ceará.

Scatec bought the co-located projects from local developer Kroma Energia. All four won power deals in the Brazilian government auction run in November 2015, Scatec said in a statement to investors on the Oslo stock exchange.

The agreements – expected to pull in revenue of $28m annually from a generation of about 305GWh – require the plants to be online by the end of 2018.
