In a bid to accelerate growth in its renewables portfolio, Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power is launching a new renewable energy operation to capitalise on the market potential of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
ACWA Power, an energy and desalination developer and investor, already operates a portfolio of 1.16GW of renewable power generation across four countries. These assets will be grouped into the new entity, which ACWA said will act as a platform to capitalise on the rapidly growing market.
