The auction rules will be published on 13 May, Mexico's power regulator Cenace said in a statement. The auction will allow the state power company buy power and clean energy certificates (CELs), as well as contract firm capacity, the government's energy secretariat (Sener) said.
This auction will follow Mexico’s first renewables tender held in March, in which developers led by Enel Green Power sold 5.4TWh
