Interested parties can hand in their bids to the federal grid agency, BNetzA, by 1 August at a maximum price of €0.1109 ($0.1257) per kilowatt hour, the same ceiling applied at the last auction n April.
Germany held two 150MW PV auctions last year, and one 200MW round, totalling 500MW. This year, it will auction only 400MW in total, followed by 300MW in 2017, before a potential rise to 600MW from 2018.
