Canadian private equity firm JCM Capital is partnering Pan Africa Solar on the 75MW array in the northwest state of Katsina. Construction is due to begin this year and the project is expected to be commissioned in 2017.
Katsina will sell power for $0.115/kWh in the first agreement with developers of 12 solar projects totalling 975MW that are expected to be developed over the next few years.
