Sonnedix and J.P. Morgan Asset Management began partnering several years ago to pursue solar development opportunities around the world, during which time Sonnedix tripled its base of operating solar capacity, to 353MW.

Sonnedix has offices in nine countries but no headquarters, a spokesman says.

The deal will usher in a “new phase” for Sonnedix, including a planned expansion into the US market, says chief executive Andreas Mustad.
