First Solar signs New Mexico solar energy supply deal

First Solar will engineer and construct a 30MW solar photovoltaic power plant in northeastern New Mexico and then sell power under a 25-year contract to a wholesale electricity provider, the company said Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed.
