Vestas is reducing its revenue guidance to €6,400m, compared to the previous guidance of €7,000, while the EBIT guidance has been reduced to 4%, compared to the previous estimate of 7%.
“The commissioning of Vestas’ new generator factory in Travemünde, Germany, is not progressing as planned,” the company says, adding, “In order not to compromise on safety and quality in an already very busy fourth quarter, Vestas has chosen to postpone the handing over of a number of projects, primarily in Europe.”
