In Scotland, the consortium comprising EDP Renováveis (EDPR) and Repsol is due to tender for the first phases of the Moray Firth zone, along with its Inch Cape project.

Industry sources say it is highly unlikely the Scottish government will accept imported turbines for the bulk of the two projects’ supply needs, particularly given a small but significant level of public opposition to the proposed wind farms.
