MCT to open first satellite office in Inverness, Scotland

MCT has a 99MW tidal farm on the drawing board for Brough Ness, off the southern tip of the Orkney Islands, and an 8MW array planned for Kyle Rhea, off the Isle of Skye.

The two developments would be constructed around MCT’s 1.2MW SeaGen tidal turbines, the flagship of which recently passed the 3GWh generation milestone at its site in Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland.
