features

the
3MW
machines,
which
are
designed
for
Class
II
–
8.5
metres
per
second
–
wind
speeds
in
densely
populated
areas
or
sites
with
limited
space.
The
110-metre-diameter-rotor
turbines
are
outfitted
with
Alstom’s
Pure
Torque
technology
to
divert
loads
away
from
the
drive-train
and
use
a
nacelle
designed
to
ease
access
for
maintenance
and
repair
operations.
