turbine,
which
features
75-meter-long
blades
–
currently
the
longest
in
the
world
–
and
a
lightweight
200
tonne
nacelle,
follows
erection
of
a
version
of
the
machine
with
a
120-metre
rotor
in
May
2011
at
the
Siemens’
Høvsore
test
site.
The
direct-drive
turbine
is
designed
to
have
a
combination
of
robustness
and
low
weight
to
"reduce
offshore
infrastructure,
installation
and
maintenance
costs,
while
delivering
increased
energy
yield
and
greater
profitability
over
its
life
cycle”,
