conventional
156mm
commercial-grade
p-type
silicon
wafers.

to
create
the
new
solar
cell
with
copper
plating.
The
record-setting
copper-front-contact
selective-emitter
cell
has
a
full-area
aluminum-alloyed
back
electrode.

usual
with
LDSE
a
laser-based
selective
doping
process
is
combined
with
a
plating
technology,
but
to
form
copper
contacts
at
the
front

rather
than
traditional
silver
ones
–
thereby
cutting
the
cost
of
production
by
