Marine
Renewables
Infrastructure
Network
for
Energy
Technologies
(Marinet)
plans
to
offer
testing
slots
at
a
network
of
42
research
facilities
in
ten
countries
at
no
charge
to
small-
and
medium-sized
(SME)
technology
developers.
Underwritten
by
funding
from
the
European
Commission’s
Research
Infrastructures
programme,
Marinet’s
aim
is
to
fast-track
development
of
marine
renewables
by
supporting
testing
of
concepts,
devices
and
“industrially
relevant
research”
in
wave,
tidal
and
offshore
wind
energy.
The
Marinet
initiative
will
hold
at
least
four
rounds
of
funding
through
to
2015
for
companies
linked
with
the
European
FP7…
