The
decision,
approved
by
the
relevant
ministerial
committee,
is
a
serious
blow
to
Israel’s
nascent
utility-scale
wind
sector,

which
a
feed-in
tariff
(FIT)
was
first
approved
last
year
with
a
total
cap
of
800MW.
Israeli
wind
developers
have
been
hamstrung
by
radar-related
objections
lodged
by
the
Defence
Ministry.

suggested
opening
up
300MW
of
the
800MW
allocated
for
wind
to

sector,
