two
firms

reached

consensus
on
the
merger
but
were
still
discussing
details
on
payment
terms.
Unnamed
sources
cited
by
the
newspaper
noted
that
the
two
companies
have
similar
corporate
culture,
as
management
from
both
used
to
work
at
Taiwan
Semiconductor
Manufacturing.
Both
also
have
“distinctive
technologies”,
allowing
them
to
enhance
their
international
competitiveness
through
a
merger,
it
adds.
