Energy
Bridge
project,

seeks

build
a
5GW
transmission
line
dedicated
to
exporting
green
electricity
from
Ireland
to
Great
Britain.
MRP,
which
is
about
to
commission
its
first
onshore
wind
farm
in
Ireland,
says
the
Energy
Bridge
will
be
up
and
running
as
soon
as
2017.
The
latest
round
of
fundraising
brings
the
total
investment
raised
by
MRP
to
€265m,
including
the
€20m
Barclays
Capital
put
down
when
the
company
was
founded
in
2008.
