The
country’s
Ministry
of
Commerce
(Mofcom)
is
demanding
that
Washington
removes
support
measures
for
six
programmes
in
five
US
states.
The
final
ruling
claims
the
measures
act
as
a
barrier
to
Chinese
exports.
It
confirms
preliminary
findings
released
by
the
Ministry
in
May
following
an
investigation
first
launched
in
November
2011.
However,
there
is
again
no
apparent
mention
of
specific
action
that
the
Chinese
government
intends
to
take
following
its
findings
–
only
the
promise
of
‘relevant
legal
measures’.
