Vestas gets 48MW China repeat order from Longyuan

Vestas has received an order for 24 of its V90-2MW wind turbines from Chinese wind developer Longyuan. The turbines are for the Hanjiang Baihe wind park in Putian County, Fujian Province, with installation expected in Q4 of 2012. The order includes a 3 year service and maintenance agreement.

The Baihe wind park is located 12 km from the coast with an annual average wind speed of 7 m/s at 80 metres height, but with occasional strong winds, Vestas says.

Vestas received an order for 25 V90s from Longuyan earlier this year for the Qiulu wind farm. With the latest order, Vestas says it will have installed 330MW in Fujian Province for Longyuan, China’s largest developer.
