Rave staying on as GWEC chairman for two more years

The GWEC executive committee will help promote the role of wind

The board of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) has re-elected Klaus Rave as the organisation’s chairman for another two years.

Rave, who has held the post since 2010, is “one of the leading wind power experts in Europe”, who has been involved in financing projects since 1991 in his role as managing director of the Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein, says GWEC.

The board also elected a new executive committee of wind-power heavyweights to support Rave and his GWEC colleagues in their work representing the global industry.
