Alstom’s

unit

hydropower
operations
–
pulled
in
€2.03bn
($2.7bn)
in
the
12
months
ending
March
31.

increase
in
sales
in
South
and
Central
America
to
€754m
was
fuelled
by
large
wind
and
hydro
deals
in
Brazil,
says
Alstom.

its
first
wind
equipment
plant
in
Brazil
last
year.
The
company
also
enjoyed
a
significant
boost
to
sales
in
the
Middle
East
and
Africa,
which
rose
67%
to
€172m,
helped
by
a
contract
to
deliver
54
wind
turbines
to
