38-year-old
Serb,
was
sentenced
to
one
year
in
jail
and
a
further
two
years'
probation
after
admitting
a
charge
of
fraudulent
misuse
of
data
at
Klagenfurt
district
court.

software
engineer
was
also
ordered
to
pay
former
employer
Windtec
–
the
Austrian
subsidiary
of
US
wind
turbine
technology
group
AMSC
–
€200,000
($270,000)
in
damages.
The
case
centres
around
key
elements
of
the
US
company's
wind-power
electronics
software
code,
which
AMSC
claims
Sinovel
is
using
illegally
in
its
1.5MW
