department
of
electronic
and
electrical
engineering
by

James
Flint
and
Paul
Lepper,
using
11
colour
cards,
found
that
insects
—
a
main
source
of
food
for
the
winged
creatures
—
appear
to
be
more
attracted
to
lighter
colours
such
as
yellow,
white
and
light
grey.
Purple
proved
the
least
appealing.

may
mean
the
use
of
“cloud-coloured”
turbines
favoured
for
their
ability
to
blend
into
the
rural
