After more than a year at the helm of the International Renewable Energy Agency ( Irena), a lesser woman might be quietly eyeing the exits.
But Hélène Pelosse, who was elected Irena’s first secretary-general in July 2009, wishes to make one thing very clear: she is just getting started.
Irena’s creation, in early 2009, made a huge splash, but its impact thus far can only be described as a ripple.
