The move means the Commerce Department will continue its investigation that was prompted by a complaint filed in December by the Wind Tower Trade Coalition, whose four members are Broadwind Energy, DMI Industries, Katana Summit and Trinity Structural Towers.

The group is asking the US government to impose anti-dumping duties to compensate for what it alleges are use of unfair pricing practices to capture sales for towers used to support turbines with more than a 100kW power rating.

The
