The new company DNV KEMA, to be led by KEMA chief executive Thijs Aarten, will be based in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

Aarten will report to a supervisory board chaired by DNV chief executive Henrik Madsen.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but analysts say it will create a powerful new global energy consulting, testing and certification group with a combined turnover of around €300m.

KEMA
