The amount was not disclosed. Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2012, the wind farm will use 69 GE 1.6MW turbines featuring 82.5-meter diameter rotors.
Invenergy will sell all power and renewable energy credits to utility DTE Energy under a long-term contract.
“This financing, together with our bank loan facilities that were recently completed, provide Invenergy with a strong investor base for our Gratiot County Wind project,” says Jim Murphy, chief financial officer at Invenergy.
