The group plans to have a total of 200GW capacity by the end of the decade, with half coming from nuclear generation, a quarter from hydro and other renewables, and the remaining 50GW from thermal sources, chief executive Henri Proglio told shareholders in Paris.

EDF currently has about 150GW installed. Proglio names Poland, Brazil and Turkey as specific targets for expansion, adding to its existing growth plans in China, Russia, the UK and the US.
