China’s ministry of commerce has set the quota for its 26 exporters in the second half of the year at 15,738 tonnes, giving them a full-year quota of 30,184 tonnes. That compares to 30,258 tonnes last year.
The move comes less than two weeks after a World Trade Organization (WTO) body ruled that China’s export restrictions on nine materials are in breach of its WTO obligations.
