Ming Yang reported a 28% increase in sales for the third quarter of 2011, in contrast to flat or lower revenues from larger rivals such as Goldwind.
Revenues grew to 1.9bn yuan ($298.7m) for the three months to the end of September, after Ming Yang commissioned 370 of its 1.5MW turbines compared with 239 machines in 2010.
Ming Yang wants to increase its market share to more than 10% this year, says chief executive Zhang Chuanwei, up from around 5-6% in 2010.
