The list includes nine solar projects in three states, six wind proposals in four states and one geothermal scheme in California and another in Nevada.
Not all of the projects are located entirely on public land. The BLM developed the priority list in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service.
