CTG will take stakes of 34-49% in 900MW of operational and 600MW of ready-to-build projects between 2012 and 2015, Mexia says. Of these, 600-800MW will be in Europe, a similar amount in the US, and up to 200MW in South America.

The first €800m will be invested during the first 12 months after closing the agreement.

“We are going to combine efforts to become worldwide leaders in renewable energy through joint development and ownership of selected renewables projects,” Mexia says.
