The conclusion of a preliminary investigation launched in November last year comes just days after the US announced it will impose anti-dumping duties of more than 30% on Chinese solar cell imports.
A statement on the ministry’s website did not reveal if, or how, Beijing will act on its findings.
When it launched the process, the ministry said its “impartial and objective” inquiry could lead to it adopting “relevant measures” such as initiating a WTO dispute procedure if it established that the support polices constitute trade barriers.
