“This random reduction that is not backed by data removes all predictability from the regulator’s future tariff revisions,” claims Sebastian Noethlichs, executive director of the Bulgarian Wind Power Association.

He adds that the support cut, which was approved in June, is aggravated by a law that passed parliament yesterday allowing Bulgaria’s regulator to revise tariffs whenever an element of the power-pricing equation is deemed to have changed by more than 10%.
