The DBSA says the 897MW of projects are among the 28 successful preferred bidders in the first round of South Africa's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme (REIPPP), launched last year.
The PV projects approved for DBSA loans include the De Aar and Droogfontein projects, both about 48MW, along with the 75MW Kathu and Lesedi developments.
The CSP developments at Bokpoort, Abengoa Khi and Touwsrivier are also among those on the list.
