The Oslo-based group – which has undergone major restructuring and cost-cutting over the past year – says prices continued to fall in the third quarter of the year, down by 10% for both polysilicon and modules compared to the previous three months.
REC had already warned investors that its third-quarter results would miss expectations, and duly announced a loss on continuing operations of NKr452m ($78.5m).
