Suntech expects to haul in revenues of $3.13bn-$3.15bn in 2011, compared to the $2.77bn it raked in the year prior, due in part to a better-than-expected fourth quarter.
“Our sales and operations teams both performed well in the fourth quarter, enabling us to achieve key goals and improvements across our business,” says chief executive Zhengrong Shi.
“We will continue to implement the initiatives necessary to maintain our position as the leading supplier of solar panels.”
