The US government has shaken up the list of offshore wind developers eligible for up to $40m each to fund demonstration projects, with projects backed by LEEDCo and the University of Maine replacing others backed by Dominion Resources and Principle Power.
A handbook mapping out the opportunities for the North Sea oil contracting supply chain to branch into the European offshore wind industry has been produced by consultancy BVG Associates (BVGA) for business development agency Scottish Enterprise.
