Mustus Energy has hired Lockheed Martin to build a 41.5MW biomass plant in Alberta, Canada.
Lockheed Martin will handle procurement and construction at the plant, which will use residue of aspen trees after lumber processing as its fuel.
The plant at La Crete will supply 30,000 Alberta homes with power when it begins operations around autumn 2013, says Mustus.
